I'm Violeta, a.k.a. Violet Bo

 

I am Bulgarian and i was born in Plovdiv, in the heart of the Thracian valley.

Singing has been a passion of mine since kindergarten.

I started school in a music class with choir and piano, where I enjoyed singing mostly folk and gospel.

Thanks to gospel music, I started studying classical singing in high school where I had the opportunity to develop with classical music, soul, and musical.

 

After school and several awards and encouragements from singing competitions, my path told me to develop professionally with singing and I entered the National Academy of Music in Sofia, with classical singing.In spite of my classical education, there I had the opportunity to become more familiar with the work of great, beloved artists such as Aretha Franklin, Quincy Jones, James Brown, Lili Ivanova, Sharon Jones , Whitney Houston and many more…. 

And after completing my bachelor's degree, I delved into soul, jazz, funk and hip hop music.

I have had the pleasure of singing in hip-hop formats and making my own music, of course in the realm of hip-hop, soul, jazz and funk music.

 

In a period of lack of development, I decided to do something new and different with my life and went to Switzerland. The first years it was not easy to navigate...I had a cool band, sang with a DJs, but somehow it was not real and serious.

 The moment I moved to Zurich, I had the opportunity to start teaching.

In the music preparation of a friend to become a student, I found that my mission was to become a teacher!...singing lessons, piano and music theory ...

And now that's something I adore!

And yes. There is no age limit for learning!

 

Of course, in my home studio, personal music runs parallel.

But before I start with the new songs, I would like to realise my first album of favorite, unreleased songs of the last years.. so the " Selected feelings " album is about to become a reality..

 

And about the new beats ? ... They are coming! 🎶
